1st June 2010
Today was the 4th day in Maldives. Early in the morning, while other guests were still sound asleep, we wake up with a hope that the weather would be better than yesterday. We would love to have sunrise photography at the island. So we planned for second attempt. Since 5 am, we prepared ourselves and standby the cameras at the beach...and waited for the moment. During that period, we donated pretty much of our blood to the mosquitoes!
The beautiful moment was created from 5.40 am onwards. Although the sky was covered by the thick clouds, we saw the beauty of the sunrise moment beyond our expectation! We quickly captured the moment and glad that we were able to witness the sunrise together in the Little Heaven. It was extremely perfect!

The sun was up and we had our final post before heading back to our room to get ready for another exciting activity of the day...a trip to Male, the capital city of Maldives.
Shopping area in the city... definitely not a good place for shopping coz the goods are so expensive! Goods are sold in USD
Anyhow, for remembrance purpose, we grabbed the shark teeth and some t-shirts for us to bring back to Malaysia
Waiting for a Dhoni ride to transfer us to a most spectacular ride in our life... the submarine!!!
We could not believe that we had a chance to experience a ride in a submarine... Woh!!! Fanstatic!!!~~~

92.9 feet below sea surface
We are happy that we have another new experience in life, a ride in the Whale Submarine Maldives. But on the other hand, we feel pretty sad to see most of the corals down there are not so healthy. Some died. This is obviously due to the developments which have been carried out in the city. In overall, the scenery of the underwater in that area is not attractive. We were actually expecting better than that!
The most special dish for lunch, specially cooked by a Maldivian Chef - Spicy Maldivian Chicken Curry! Yummy-licious!!! Absolutely great taste! Simon had 2 bowls of rice and no interest in taking other foods...
While kayaking, Sheau Yen saw some nice coral patches around that area and then we decided to go for another round of snorkeling. We managed to spot a lion fish!!!
In the middle: the Maldivian Chef, Faiz, who cooked the Maldivian Chicken Curry specially for us. And...We really appreciate that!
To be continued...
