30th May 2010
Today was our second day in Club Med, Kani and it was also our first day to see one of the fascinating islands in Maldives. We were awaken by our biological clock at 8am Malaysian time to get out from the bed, although the alarm clock in room was only showing 5am. Once awaken, we could not hold our excitement! Our heart was beating faster as the adrenaline hormone was increasing in our body! It was time to have fun in the Paradise!!! So, we quickly get ready for photography moments!

The activities of the day were shown on the board which displayed near the entrance of Veli Restaurant
Paying attention for the introduction of the island by the friendly GO (the guy wearing white clothes is Dany (local people), while the girl wearing white clothes is Jojo, our favourite GO (from Korea)). The other couple was also Malaysians (from Johor), and they were celebrating their 5th wedding anniversary.
Another 2 friendly GOs from China at the reception counter. The guy sneaking out was the Jack Sparrow from the Pirates of the Club Med, Kani. He also moved around to serve ice-cream on one of the occasion...a multi-task GO
Well, we supposed to go snorkeling of that afternoon but due to the heavy rain, we were forced to swim in the pool. Nevertheless, we still enjoyed ourselves there! It is one of the new experiences for us to swim in the pool right next to the sea!
The GO behind (mixing the drink) is Yuka. She made the cocktail specially for SY and thus, we named the cocktail after her name, Yuka's Special (the orange drink). Next to Yuka's Special is our fav beer, San Miguel!
Dinner time: the dinner theme was Asian Night. The dinner theme is changed everyday and the guests are encouraged to wear according to the dinner theme. Something interesting...we'd love to join the crowd!
To be continued...
