A Day before Wedding Reception in KK

Our Wedding Photos are ready! Time flies... 28th Nov 2010 was left behind with such a sweet memory~~~ Although the meaningful date was a memory now, the status of our lives has totally changed on that day itself... It is a date which turned us as Mr. & Mrs. Ong officially. We are bound as Husband & Wife from that day onwards... and together we will unite forever in love =)

It took long before our actual wedding day. Besides the usual wedding preparations just like other soon-to-be-married couples, one of the difficulties we faced was the crash cultures between West and East Malaysia. We only realized that there are so much differences of Chinese Cultures in these 2 places! So what was the conclusion? We combined and practiced those differences in our wedding. Thank God for our tolerant Mums and Dads! No cold war was created along our preparations...

We pretty enjoyed every bit of the preparations! Thinking back those days, the one we enjoyed most was the bookmark preparation. Due to our far apart stay from families and close friends, both of us had no choice but to prepare the bookmarks all by ourselves. Whenever we get back to Tawau after the outstation work, we spared time at night and repeated the following steps: cut the laminated bookmark into proper size, punched hole on it, measured the ribbon at approx. 28cm in length, and then tied it up on the bookmark... We prepared about 700 pcs, and those were the small souvenirs specially made from our hearts to all our invited guests. Why did we choose bookmark among so many other souvenirs? It's because SY loves to collect beautiful bookmarks, while Simon loves reading. So choosing bookmark for the souvenir is something meaningful for us... To our invited guests out there, if you happen to read this page... This is the story behind the little souvenir... Hope you like it as we do...

Last but not least, we would like to take an opportunity here to Billions Thanks ALL our beloved family members, relatives, boss, colleagues, close friends, friends, teachers, lecturers, wedding event officers, the band groups, emcees, and our parents' friends for making our Special Day a memorable one! We are really appreciate the kindness of everyone in sparing time with us to witness and be part in the ceremony. It's important to brighter our Day!

Special Thanks to our videographers and photographers (BestianKelly), who had captured the beautiful moment in our lives! Only videos and photos could store the magical moment of our fairy tale story... Thanks to their perfect skills in capturing every moment of it!

Also, Many Thanks to all performers esp. Charmaine Ku, Chris Oh, Luther Ku, Ephraim and Tiffany in offering us to do stage performance in the Wedding Reception. We are lucky to have them with zero charges! They had performed very well... Our guests were entertained, not to mention us!

We are trying our best to upload as many photos as possible here, although it takes time... Please bear with us! Feel free to save a copy of any pics for your memory too! To those who had missed our Big Day, we fully understand your situation... That's okay! =) You still can witness the ceremony throughout our page...
