This was a very short trip, but well...u know...only both of us in this vacation,n it was like a honey-moon for both of us!!!mmm...yess...we felt the romance here...geee...a couple should really take a break and go travel somewhere from time to time in order to kick off the stereotaip r/ship...n this is really true =) We really enjoyed ourselves in this trip! Out from the hectic life, we just stop n took pics, bought some sourvenirs, enjoyed the local foods, walked everywhere we'd want to go! Most of all, the one we enjoyed most was the Sunset River Cruise...Sarawak Tourism Board has done a pretty good job on this =)

Old Kuching Courthouse (1868-1900)
The first Brooke era administrative building which house all the government functions under one roof. In 2003, the courthouse re-use as Sarawak Tourism Complex.

Brooke Memorial (1924)
Design by Architect Messr. Swan and McClaren (Singapore) to honour Charles Brooke for his services and dedication to the state was commissioned in 1924. Each corner has a bronze panel with figures representing Chinese, Iban, Malay and Kayan communities, a reminder of the ethnic diversity found in the state.

Old Chinese Court (1912)
Originally used by the Chinese community as a court to administer the laws and customs of marriage, divorce and probate. It effectively took care of all civil cases involving Chinese litigants, which was in line with the wishes of Charles Vyner Brooke. The court dissolve in 1921 and took over by Chinese Chamber of Commerce in 1930 as office until 1990. Since 1993, Sarawak Museum had set up its Chinese History Museum here, with displays that traced the history of chinese settlement in Sarawak.

The Pavilion (1909)
Originally as the medical headquaters. Ground floor housed consulting room, laboratory and offices. 1st floor was the 'European Hospital' and nurses' quaters occupied the top floor. Currenly used by the Museum Department as their Textile Museum.
